The bulk order came in! Before I talk about it, though, a quick plug: I'll be at Ludo Outaouais this weekend, and if you're a boardgamer, you should be too! (Preregistration is closed; just show up!)

Back to the order; here's what I got:
  • Bolide (w. extra tracks): A car racing game with minimal luck and good physics as well as good gameplay.
  • Carcassonne: Princess and Dragon Expansion: I must have all the Carcassonne! At least, all the stuff for the main game.
  • Alhambra: The Vizier's Favor Expansion Pack: Another expansion kit, this one for a game that really benefits from the extra bits in my opinion.
  • Magic: the Gathering stuff: More fodder for minimaster and the draft pool, plus a couple of Lorwyn tournament sealed-deck starters.
  • Some Pirates: At Oceans Edge packs: Always cool, and fun to put together, even if I don't actually play very often. I gots me a sea dragon and a catamaran, among other cool things!
  • Age of Empires III: A big box with a good reputation, based on a computer game; haven't played it yet.
  • Railroad Tycoon: Another big box with a good reputation, based on a computer game; quite possibly the best rail game I've played, from first playing. I picked it up on a whim, and paid for it out of the previous night's poker winnings.
  • Notre Dame: A Eurogame billed as a good contender for the year's Puerto Rico lite. Haven't played yet.
  • Saint Petersburg: A very good, quick but non-trivial game which I had played at dagibbs and gabriel_le's place. Haven't opened my copy yet.
  • Jungle Speed and Expansion: A quick-thinking game, first encountered at dagibbs and gabriel_le's place. Haven't played my copy yet; haven't played the expansion anywhere.
  • Kragmortha: A hillariously silly-looking game with penalties like having to stand on one foot, talk through clenched teeth, etc. Not a game for the serious crowd.
  • The King is Dead: A unique-looking game by White Wolf which combines strategy gaming and role-playing (or even LARP'ing). I'm in love with the idea's audacity, but I'm going to have to work on finding the right group and space to play it. Comment if you're interested!
  • Star Wars RPG main book: Gotta have it, since I'm in ancalagon_tb's game.
Total price: don't ask!
